The Pickleball Association of Australia offers a sanctioning structure for competiions conducted in Australia. The purpose of this sanctioning is to ensure that all sanctioned tournaments are comparative and held based on similar procedures and principles. Through these sanctioned tournaments a National rating system has been constructed and is constantly updated.
This is the money payable to PAA for a sanctioned event. It is based on the level of the tournament (Level 1 - Local, Regional; Level 2 - State; Level 3 - National) and the number of competitors.

Applications for sanctioning are due twice a year. Applications for each event are done online.
