Competition Software:
The competition software used by both NSW and the rest of the pickleball community in Australia is Pickleball Brackets. Making an online account is free. Competitor ratings are calculated using this software.

Ratings:
A competitors skill level is given a rating so they can compete in events with other players at the same skill level. Ratings start at 1.0 and go through to 6.0. The higher the number the higher the skill of the player.
