Leagues

In pickleball we call a weekly organised competition a "league".

Playing in a league is a fantastic way to improve your pickleball with players of a similar level in a competitive but friendly environment. Many league players go on to enter in pickleball tournaments.

There are several and current upcoming leagues in NSW including our Sydney Inter-Club league starting in early 2024.

Leagues are suitable for players with a wide range of skills from about a playing level of 2.5. Skills form this level include as a minimum

Ability to reliably serve and return a serve
Keep the ball in play consistently
Use of basic tactics and strategies
Knowledge of scoring.
